King's Scout AwardLogbook portal

Privacy notice

What this portal keeps about you, who can see it, and how to get rid of it.

Who we are

The KSA Logbook Portal is run by Paisley & District Scout Network (PDSN) to help Explorer Scouts and Scout Network members keep their King's Scout Award logbook. It is not run or endorsed by UK Scouts HQ. PDSN is responsible for the information held here.

What we keep, and why

Only what the logbook needs, so we can build it and fill in HQ's form for you:

We use it to run your logbook, to email you (your sign-in link, sign-off requests, and reminders if you stop using it), and to let your leaders support you. We don't sell it, advertise with it or use it for anything else.

Who can see it

The portal doesn't send anything to UK Scouts HQ itself. You (or your leader) send HQ the finished logbook.

How long we keep it

Until you delete it. If nobody opens your account for 9 months it is deleted automatically, and we email you warnings during the last 2 months. Signing in starts the clock again. Leader accounts aren't deleted automatically.

Your choices

From your Account page you can download everything we hold about you, turn reminders off, and permanently delete your account along with your diary, photos and everything else. To correct your details, edit them on Your details. For anything else, including a question about your information, ask your Network leader.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and email

We use one cookie, to keep you signed in. There is no advertising, analytics or tracking. Emails are sent through Microsoft 365.
